School Favorites Scrapbook Layout
This school layout page is one of my favorites. I found the template when my oldest son was in preschool and have used it ever since. The questions the kids answer are great. Such as: What I want to be when I grow up, my favorite story is: or the best thing that happened to me this year. It also has a place for their age, weight and height. If you would like to find the school template used to create this school layout scrapbook page check out Scrapper's Haven. The pages are available from kindergarten through high school.
Difficulty: Simple Time for Completion: < 1 hour Supplies Needed: 1 piece of 12x12 patterned scrapbook paper 1 piece of 8 1/2 x 11 solid color scrapbook paper School scrapbook stickers Wallet size picture of your child Grade appropriate school template page 2 small pieces of solid color paper 1 journaling box or any square to journal in 1 school themed die-cut or anything similar Step 1 Mount your child's picture in the middle of the template page. I added a little color to the corners around the picture. Then center this page and stick it on any 8 1/2 x 11 solid colored scrapbook paper that is color coordinated with your child's picture. Step 2 Mount this page on the 12x12 patterned paper. This step can be skipped if you are using a 8 1/2 x 11 album. The sample page is mounted about 1 inch from the left side of the page. Step 3 Now to create the rectangle shaped box for the stickers. Take the two small pieces of solid colored scrapbook paper, that coordinate with your picture. Cut one into a rectangle shape. The dark blue sample piece is 2 1/2 inches by 7 1/4 inches. The light blue piece mounted on top is about 2 inches by 6 1/2 inches. Mount one on top of the other. Place your school stickers in this box any way you wish.Step 4 Then mount the rectangle sticker box up in the right corner of the page. Place the journal box under this box. I try to center them between the edge of the scrapbook paper and the template page. Step 5 Add the finishing touches. Place scrapbook stickers around the page. Add the title die-cut or scrapbook sticker across the top of the page. You're finished
