Step 1
Choose the color/design of paper for the pockets.  I used the red/yellow striped paper.  It is 2 sided.  It has red on the back.  So I cut this paper into 3 pieces.  5" and 4" and 3".  I used the 3" piece on the red side for the top of the page.Disney scrapbook layout sample page with pockets

Step 2
Now to create the pocket pages.  Take the 5" piece of paper.  Cut a piece of red ribbon 12" long for the top of the page.  I used a 1" piece of yellow cardstock across the top of the pocket to cover the seams where the pocket pages meet.  Cut a yellow strip, 1"wide x 12"long, line it up along the top of the red/yellow striped paper and put the adhesive ribbon over 1/2 of each paper to hold them together.  Repeat this step for the 4" pocket page.

Step 3
Pick out which pictures you want to use.  Crop them to a smaller size.  I mounted mine on yellow and then red cardstock.  REMEMBER :  Leave a bigger edge of red cardstock at the top of the picture.   This is for the file folder tab.  I simply traced aDisney file tab pictures disney layout regular file folder tab onto the red cardstock and cut it out.  You can add titles to each picture on the tab.  If you use the same theme as I did, face painting, you can decide on diecuts/stickers/letters that coordinate with the painted faces.  If you choose a different theme for this Disney page you can pick out your embellishments you want to use and coordinate colors.  If you have a Cricut machine you can cut out coordinating letters and shapes.  I used the "Animal Kingdom" Cricut cartridge for the tiger head and sound (GRRR).  The alligator sound(SNAP)   The raccoon sound (WILD THING)  Then I used the "George" Cricut cartridge for the Disney letters.  I used the sign feature.  I cut out the letters on the black and then just the sign on the yellow.  It is the 3" size.  I also cut out the "04" from this Cricut cartridge.  Go to Scrapbook.com for all your Cricut supplies.

Step 4
Create the bottom pocket page.  Take one picture and mount it on the left upper corner.    Stick down the tiger head on the upper left corner of the picture.  Stick thedisney cricut cutouts and cartridge and paper word GRRR on the lower left corner of the picture.  Stick down the word WILD, in tiger paper and then black paper, on the lower right corner of the picture.  With both words at an angle and not covering the Mickey printed on the paper.  Stick down the 04, on the far left, representing the year the pictures were taken.

Step 5
Create the middle pocket page.  Take the 4" striped paper with the ribbon on top and stick the Animal Kingdom sign in the upper left corner.  The rest of the embellishments are added after the pocket is stuck to the page.

Step 6
Putting the pockets on the base page/paper.  Stick down the red 3" piece first, level with the top of your base page.  Then stick down the middle pocket.  IMPORTANT:  Only stick down 3 sides, not the top!  Then stick down the bottom pocket.  Again remember to only stick down 3 sides, not the top!

Step 7
Adding the title/letters.  Stick down your Disney letters to the left side of the top red portion of page.  You can arrange them however you like.  I randomly went up and down.

Step 8
Adding the embellishments.  I used animal print brads to hold the bottom pocket securely to the base page.  I put one on each upper corner of the pocket.  I used adisney layout brads, brad bars closeup Mickey Mouse ear design to hold the right upper edge of the middle pocket.  I used a mini black brad to hold the left upper edge because it had the animal kingdom sign on it and I didn't want to cover that up.  Then I added some brad bars and black mini brads on the top red paper.  You can scatter them around wherever they fit.  I also scattered some Mickey Mouse ear shaped brads on the bottom pocket page.  To insert the brads I used a paper piercer to make the hole for the brad and then put it through the hole and bent over the edges.

Step 9
Slide your pictures in the pockets.  You can add a journalling card to this page if you would like.  I have added one to the 2nd page that covers both pages.

Congratulations you have finished the first page.

Page 2

Step 1
Repeat step 1 from above (cutting the three pieces of paper).

Step 2
For this page I coordinated the fiber/ribbon with the green colors in my sons face painting.  Refer to step 2 for page 1 for more details.  So I used a green ribbon and fiber rather than the red ribbon used on the first page.  I put the green adhesive ribbon down first attaching the yellow 1" cardstock across the top.  Repeat this step for the middle pocket page.

Step 3
For this page I coordinated the mattes for the pictures with the colors in the photos.  I matted the pictures with green and then the red.  Remember the file folder tab.  Refer to the directions in step 3 above for further details.   I used 7 photos for this page and a file folder tab with journaling.  Now for the diecuts for the bottom pocket page.  I used green alligator type patterned paper from the Cricut Animal Kingdom precut paper pack.  I cut out "thing and snap" out of this paper and another "thing" out of black.  The word snap is from the alligator sound and the wild thing is from the raccoon sound.

Basically you follow the same steps as page 1 just changing the colors a bit.
